My first Encounter with the Internet

One of my first encounters of the internet was when I was around 5 or 6. We had a dial up internet, I still remember the annoying sound it would make before it would connect. You remember this one:

 It also literally took FOREVER! I remember I would have my friends over and we would like to play online games so we would see how many laps around my house we could take before the page would load. And would said it wasn't healthy to spend too much time on the internet?
I remember thinking it was so cool that I could paly all these games without having to go to the store and buy a game on a CD. Now with all the technology we have kids these days would not be as impressed with the technology I had then. But for me I thought it was the coolest thing ever.
